Two Teens Arrested After Bullying Video Goes Viral in Kern County

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Two teenagers have been arrested following a bullying incident that was filmed and shared on social media.

According to the police, officers responded to a report of battery on Quartz Hill Road on Tuesday. The report was linked to a video showing the bullying.

Officials from the Kern High School District helped police identify the suspects, aged 14 and 15, who appeared in the video.

Both teenagers have been arrested and taken to Juvenile Hall. They face charges of battery, false imprisonment, and conspiracy.
