A North Carolina woman won $4 million thanks to the striking colors of a scratch-off lottery ticket.

Rachel Sadler from Lincolnton shared with North Carolina Education Lottery officials that she decided to try a $30 Supreme 7s ticket at the Save Mart on East Main Street.

“This was my first time buying that ticket,” Sadler said. “I was drawn to the blue and white color.”

Sadler was amazed when she discovered she had won the top prize of $4 million.

“I’m still in shock,” she admitted.

She immediately knew how she would use her winnings.

“I have a lot of grandkids,” she said. “I want to ensure they have a bright future.”
